AMZN - Amazon's third-party shipping presents $15B opportunity says BofA
4kodiak/iStock Unreleased via Getty Images Earlier this week, e-commerce software as a service platform BigCommerce (BIGC) announced a new integration that gives U.S. customers access to Amazon's (AMZN) order fulfillment services regardless of whether the merchant sells on Amazon. BofA analyst Justin Post sees the integration as a "clear indication that Amazon is working toward building a logistics services business." The firm previously modeled a $15B revenue opportunity by 2025 for the Ship with Amazon business. Post writes that capturing 15% of the non-Amazon e-comerce shipping market would add an incremental 1.7B packages, a 24% increase in the existing delivery scale. BigCommerce shares are up 2% pre-market. Amazon is down slightly after President Biden signed an executive order calling for antitrust regulations for Big Tech.
