AGPPF - Anglo American Platinum taps Miller as new CEO succeeding Viljoen

Anglo American Platinum ( OTCPK:ANGPY ) ( OTCPK:AGPPF ) said Thursday it named finance director Craig Miller as its new CEO effective October 1 , replacing Natascha Viljoen, who has moved on to Newmont ( NEM ) to become COO.

Miller has been Amplats' ( OTCPK:ANGPY ) ( OTCPK:AGPPF ) finance director since 2019, after holding other senior financial roles within the wider Anglo American ( OTCQX:AAUKF ) ( OTCQX:NGLOY ) mining group, including stints as CFO of Anglo's iron ore business in Brazil and its coal operations in South Africa.

Viljoen became CEO in 2020 following six years as group head of processing; she joined Anglo American in 2014 after serving at Lonmin and BHP.
