APO - Apollo Global Merx acquire two Boeing 777Fs in sale-leaseback with Air France

Apollo Global Management LLC Class A Representing Class A Limitied Liability Company Interests
Funds managed by Apollo Global Management (APO) and aircraft leasing and finance company Merx Aviation complete a sale-leaseback transaction with Air France (AFRAF) (AFLYY).The transaction covers two Boeing 777F long-haul freighter aircraft. The aircraft, manufactured in 2009, were acquired by an aviation platform established by Apollo, which invests in a rang of aircraft types, vintages, and jurisdictions and is serviced by Merx.Terms of the transaction weren't disclosed.In March, Atlas Air Worldwide's joint venture acquired 767-300ER aircraft from Icelandair in a sale-leaseback deal that included converting the aircraft to freighters.
