- In connection with its previously announced public offering of common shares in Canada and the United States, BELLUS Health ( NASDAQ: BLU ) has entered into an underwriting pact to offer 16,540,541 common shares at offering price of $9.25/common share.
- Offering is expected to close on July 18, 2022.
- Underwriters are granted a 30-day option to purchase an additional 2,481,081 common shares from the company.
- Net proceeds from the offering will be used primarily to fund BLU-5937 research and development activities, working capital needs and other general corporate purposes.
- Jefferies, Evercore ISI and RBC Capital Markets are acting as joint book-running managers to the offering.
- Shares are down 6.14% after-hours .
