BTTR - Better Choice Company mulls over strategic options for Halo pet brand

Better Choice Company Inc. ( NYSE: BTTR ) announced that it has received expressions of interest for its line of Halo branded pet products.

The pet nutrition company will conduct a strategic alternatives review process to evaluate a sale of the company, merger, divestiture of assets, private placement of securities, or other strategic transactions such as entering into other industries or revenue verticals outside of the pet space.

Interim CEO Lionel Conacher said the goal of the strategic evaluation process is to ensure that Better Choice Company is exploring a range of possible options that could maximize value for shareholders.

BTTR opened trading on Monday with a 1.15% decline.
