BNTX - Biden officials contemplate the need of COVID-19 booster shots in vulnerable Americans

Senior officials expect that people above 65 years of age and older or who have compromised immune systems will most likely need a third shot of Pfizer (PFE) - BioNTech (BNTX) or Moderna (MRNA) coronavirus vaccines, as these have been the widely use jabs to inoculate majority of Americans thus far. Health officials' opinion is also tied in part to research suggesting that the Pfizer vaccine is less effective after about six months.
