• CEO Jonah Peretti is expecting AI to enhance content while humans offer ideas, "cultural currency" and "inspired prompts," according to a memo reviewed by WSJ.
• The company says it remains focused on human-generated journalism in the newsroom.
• The news comes after Red Ventures' digital publisher CNET says it's paused a recent test using internal AI tech to create "explainer" stories about financial services, after finding factual errors.
