GOEV - Canoo secures battery module contract with U.S. DoD

  • Canoo ( NASDAQ: GOEV ) on Wednesday said it got a contract from the DoD's Innovation Unit to supply battery modules for analysis, demonstration and advanced testing.

  • The award supports the U.S. Department of Defense focus to incorporate scalable and adaptable capabilities in tactical environments, Canoo said.

  • The contract follows Canoo's delivery of a Light Tactical Vehicle to the U.S. Army in November, and its selection to provide NASA with crew transportation vehicles to support the Artemis lunar landing missions.

  • Shares -5% at $1.14 by 12:40 pm ET.
