MCAF - CH-Auto Challenges Li Auto Nio Xpeng With U.S. SPAC Listing

• CH-Auto has announced plans for a U.S. SPAC listing, joining Chinese electric vehicle makers Nio, XPeng and Li Auto with New York-traded shares.
• The company disclosed last week it plans to list on the Nasdaq by the end of this year, making it the latest of only a handful of Chinese companies to go public in the U.S. since last summer.
• CH-Auto is making its listing through another Mountain Crest SPAC, Mountain Crest Acquisition Corp. IV, whose founders made headlines with their successful SPAC listing for Playboy in 2020.
