CME - CME reports 29.9% growth in February ADV
- CME ( NASDAQ: CME ) reported average daily volume of 28.2M contracts for February 2023 compared to 21.7M contracts in January 2023.
- Interest rate ADV increased 8% to second-highest monthly ADV ever; interest rate ADV contracts stood at 16.2M.
- Record monthly SOFR futures ADV of 3.8M contracts while record monthly SOFR options ADV of 2.4M contracts.
- Equity index stood at 6.9M contracts vs. 6.7M contracts while energy ADV stood at 2.1M contracts compared to 2M contracts.
- In January, CME reported its first ADV decline of 12% since 2020.
