CME - CME says June ADV falls 7% from prior month

CME Group ( NASDAQ: CME ) said Wednesday it saw average daily volume of 23.3M contracts in June, representing the derivative exchange's second-highest ADV on record for that month. Still, the figure stood 6.8% below the one in May.

• Interest Rate: 10.4M contracts, -25.2% M/M.
• Equity Index: 6.9M contracts, +15% M/M.
• Options: 4.7M contracts, -4.1% M/M.
• Energy: 2.2M contracts, +10% M/M.
• Agricultural: 2.16M contracts, +44% M/M.
• Foreign Exchange: 1.1M contracts, +33.3% M/M.
• Metals: 570K contracts, -12.3%.
