CFMS - Conformis and SITES Medical collaborate for cementless total knee technology

Conformis (CFMS) has entered into a non-exclusive development and supply agreement with SITES Medical.Under this partnership, SITES Medical’s proprietary OsteoSync Ti Technology will be incorporated into future Conformis’ cementless total knee replacement products.Report, OsteoSync Ti technology is a highly porous titanium bone ingrowth material, which promotes high initial implant stability through its friction coefficient and facilitate superior bone ingrowth through its open pore geometry, combined with micro and nano-texturing."We are pleased to have entered into this agreement and are looking forward to working with SITES Medical to apply their technology to our future cementless total knee offering," says John Slamin, Senior VP, Product Development of Conformis.Stock up 5.04% post-market.
