COUR - Coursera stock rallies as analysts cite positive trends and momentum
Coursera (NYSE:COUR) shares rebound as analysts weigh on the company's earnings. Needham, which has a Buy rating on the stock and raises its price target to $45 from $56, praises the company's "strong and improving fundamental profile and exposure to attractive end market trends" as trends shift away from college degree enrollment towards professional certification. Telsey Advisory Group said that the results reflected "benefits from the secular shift toward online education, a tight labor market, gains from new content, including entry-level professional certificates, and superior execution." The company's better-than-expected outlook indicates the "continuation of strong business trends" and complements Telsey's Buy rating. Meanwhile, Stifel said the results were strong but lowered its price target on the stock to $50 from $54 due to lower college enrollment. 14 of 15 analysts covering Coursera are Bullish on the stock with an average price target of $51.
