CBRL - Cracker Barrel Old Country: Snaps 3-day losing streak on profit beat

Shares of Cracker Barrel Old Country ( NASDAQ: CBRL ) rose on Wednesday, snapping three-consecutive session of losses, after the restaurant-chain owner reported a quarterly profit beat.
Cracker Barrel Q4 Non-GAAP EPS of $1.79 surpassed Street estimates by $0.18.
Revenue of $836.7 million rose 0.8% compared to the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022, and missed estimates.
"Despite our recent traffic challenges, we remain confident that our continued focus on our strategic priorities....will improve performance in the near term and deliver value creation over the long term," Chief Executive Officer Sandra B. Cochran said.
CBRL forecast first quarter Q1 total revenue of $800 million to $850 million.
