DDOG - Datadog mulls Gitlab acquisition but Barclays finds it opposes strategy

"If DDOG were to come after GTLB, such a transaction would likely represent about a quarter of DDOG's market cap," said Barclays' analysts Raimo Lenschow and Ryan MacWilliams, in a note. "The company does not have enough cash on hand to fund the transaction, and hence would need to finance the acquisition using debt, or via equity financing. While both would be options available to the company, we don't view either as ideal in the current climate."...
