PLAY - Dave & Buster's rallies as price target raised by Truist Sandler BMO
BMO Capital analyst Andrew Strelzik raised the firm's price target on Dave & Buster's (PLAY +4.1%) to $66 from $62 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares after its Q1 earnings beat driven by stronger comp growth and margins. QTD trends in Q2 have also accelerated with 12.2% comps increase relative to pre-COVID period in 2019 and above 10.7% consensus as Dave & Buster's has not seen any consumer behavior change. Strelzik is boosting his FY22 EPS view to $3.84 from $3.16 and FY23 view to $4.10 from $3.52 on expectations of stronger sales and margin trajectory. Piper Sandler analyst Nicole Miller Regan raised the firm's price target on Dave & Buster's to $44 from $42. Truist Securities analyst Jake Bartlett has also raised the price target to $67 from $63. Since the start of 2022, Dave & Buster's shares were up around 3.8%, and over a period of one year, shares were down around 12.2%.
