DESP - Despegar Looks Cheap Despite Its Gloomy Macro Environment
In June 2018, I published an article about Despegar.com (NYSE: DESP). There I explained how the company appeared to be overvalued (or at least fairly valued). Since then, the stock has declined approximately 22%. The selloff was likely due to the strong dollar and political tensions in Argentina. Nevertheless, DESP continues to improve its core business in spite of its macroeconomic woes.
