DIDI - Didi Global added as best idea long at Hedgeye
Didi Global (NYSE:DIDI) was added as a best idea long at Hedgeye, writing that the main regulatory hurdles for the ride-sharing company are likely done and the stock has potential upside of 40%-60%. Although the company is scheduled to be delisted from NYSE on Friday, the shares will likely trade on the OTC markets afterwards, according to Hedgeye analyst Felix Wang in a note earlier Thursday. DIDI surged 24% on Monday after Chinese regulators announced that they are preparing to end their cybersecurity probe on the stock. The end of the investigation by Beijing will allow DIDI’s ban on adding new users to their platform to be lifted. Additionally, the WSJ reported that people familiar with the situation said the ban can be lifted as early as this week.
