DIDI - DiDi Global to delist from NYSE on June 10
After approaching one year on the New York Stock Exchange, DiDi Global (NYSE:DIDI) will have its last trading day on the exchange on June 10, as the ride hailing giant is set to be delisted, deserting investors about the future of the stock. Back on May 23rd, shareholders voted to support the firms delisting and the majority were in favor as authorities in Beijing made it understood that they wouldn’t lift any ban for adding new customers unless DiDi Global first left the NYSE. At this point it still remains unclear if China will allow for DIDI Global to register new users and redeploy its app. Nikkei Asia reported that a person close to senior management stated: "Delisting from New York won't automatically lead to a relaunch of Didi's apps in China."
