FSLR - First Solar Energix sign framework deal for 5 GW of solar modules

First Solar ( NASDAQ: FSLR ) said Sunday that Israel-based Energix Renewable Energy agreed to procure 5 GW DC of its cadmium telluride thin-film photovoltaic modules for delivery in 2026-30 for projects in Israel, Poland and the U.S.
Energix also contracted First Solar's ( FSLR ) recycling services to manage end-of-life handling of decommissioned modules.
The contract follows previous orders for 3.5 GW DC of First Solar ( FSLR ) products placed by the Israeli firm since 2017, making it the biggest customer of the U.S. PV manufacturer.
"This deal, our largest ever, strongly reflects the long-term strategic partnership we share with First Solar," Energix CEO Asi Levinger said.
