GVA - Granite Construction opens new Solari aggregate plant in California

Granite (GVA) opens Solari aggregate plant in Arvin, California to provide aggregate and asphalt to private and public customers in the Bakersfield market.The 700-acre Solari facility plant replaces a depleted Granite facility near Arvin and is Granite’s 77th materials facility, capable of processing more than 1,000 tons of sand and gravel per hour.The plants aggregate production began in December 2020 and asphalt production is expected to begin during the second quarter of 2021.
