GVA - Granite lands $34M highway rehabilitation project in California

Granite ( NYSE: GVA ) was given a $34 million contract by Caltrans to rehabilitate a 25-mile section of the median on Interstate 40 outside of Barstow, California, the company said on Thursday.
The project will be funded by Caltrans and the FHWA, and will be added in the company's Q2 CAP.
"This project is the sixth and final segment of median fill jobs along I-40. Granite previously completed segments one and three and is currently working on segment five," the company said in a statement.
The project is planned to begin in June 2023 and is expected to be completed in June 2024.
