Dick's Sporting Goods (NYSE:DKS), Toll Brothers (NYSE:TOL) and ScanSource (NASDAQ:SCSC) all rallied following the release of their quarterly results. However, there were losers in the earnings game as well. Nordstrom (NYSE:JWN) and Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ:URBN) both suffered pre-market selling in the wake of their financial figures. Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) posted a quarterly profit that crushed consensus by 80%. Revenues rose 21% to $3.27B. The sporting goods retailer also raised its 2021 forecast. Along with the earnings news, DKS increased its stock buyback plan and announced a special dividend of $5.50 a share. Shares jumped more than 12% in pre-market action. Toll Brothers (TOL) reported its financial figures as well. The homebuilder beat expectations on both its top and bottom lines.
