In addition, the company also transacted a concurrent private placement, which included the issuance of unregistered warrants to purchase up to 3,170,700 shares of common stock; those shares had an exercise price of $0.86 per share and are immediately exercisable for a period of three years following issuance. The company noted that H.C. Wainwright & Co. acted as the exclusive placement agent for the offering, which resulted in gross proceeds of an estimated $1.9 million.
