BNS - Jane's Portfolio - Converting A Mutual Fund Portfolio Into A Dividend-Paying Machine
Investment Thesis
This series is focused on my client Jane’s Traditional and Roth IRA portfolios as we begin the same process of transforming her holdings from a mutual fund-based portfolio to one that consists of primarily dividend-paying stocks. With the majority of the work done on Jane’s taxable account (whom she shares joint control with her husband John), we can now comfortably focus on her tax-advantaged accounts.
The primary goal for writing this article is to help make sense of the investing process. After all, the complexity of reallocating hundreds of thousands of dollars from
