LGIH - LGIH Homes closes 504 homes in December 6621 homes for the year

LGI Homes ( NASDAQ: LGIH ) closed on 504 homes in December, up from 412 closings in November, the homebuilder said Thursday.
That brings Q4 home closings to 1,448 and 6,621 for the full year, slightly below its guidance. LGIH shares fell 1.5% in after-hours trading.
"During the fourth quarter, we continued to navigate the challenging demand environment resulting from higher mortgage rates," said CEO and Chairman Eric Lipar.
As of Dec. 31, 2022, LGI Homes ( LGIH ) had 99 active selling communities, up from 93 communities at Sept. 30 .
The company will release its Q4 and full-year financial results before the market opens on Feb. 21.
