- LGI Homes ( NASDAQ: LGIH ) closed on 504 homes in December, up from 412 closings in November, the homebuilder said Thursday.
- That brings Q4 home closings to 1,448 and 6,621 for the full year, slightly below its guidance. LGIH shares fell 1.5% in after-hours trading.
- "During the fourth quarter, we continued to navigate the challenging demand environment resulting from higher mortgage rates," said CEO and Chairman Eric Lipar.
- As of Dec. 31, 2022, LGI Homes ( LGIH ) had 99 active selling communities, up from 93 communities at Sept. 30 .
- The company will release its Q4 and full-year financial results before the market opens on Feb. 21.
