FISV - Mastercard expands Digital First Card Program

Mastercard (MA) expands its Digital First Card Program in North America to meet the demand of those who want to do much of their tasks — from ordering meals to scheduling doctor's appointments — on their mobile phones and online.The company is partnering with payment processors including CoreCard, FIS (FIS), Fiserv (FISV), Galileo, i2c, Marqeta, PTS, and Global Payments' (GPN) unit TSYS to provide them with the foundational digital guidelines that will help give consumers a best-in-class digital banking experience.The payment processors will work with issuing banks to ensure foundational requirements of the Digital First Card Program are met. The program focuses on four areas: online application; near-instant issuance; quick access to card details; and simple and easy management.
