MDP - Meredith creates strategy team to expand National Media opportunity

Meredith (MDP +1.7%) is forming a new strategic development team in its National Media Group. Daphne Kwon is taking on the newly created position of executive VP, Strategy and Business Development; she had joined Meredith in 2019 as chief strategy officer. She had previously been a founding executive at Goop and Oxygen Media. She's running a team that includes Amy Thind, senior VP of Strategic Planning; Kelsey Andersen, VP of Strategic Development; and Alicia Cervini, VP of Strategic Partnerships. They'll be dedicated to expanding Meredith's brands, content and partnerships into new businesses and revenue streams. "This experienced team of media executives in strategy, revenue growth, partnerships, and M&A will ensure that we identify and invest in future areas for expansion to best serve our current customers and the next generation," says Meredith's Catherine Levene.
