A federal jury in Sherman, Texas, decided yesterday that Micro Focus (MFGP) and Seattle SpinCo infringed on three performance testing patents owned by Wapp Tech.The jury awarded $172.5M in damages to Wapp Tech.The suit focused on the Micro Focus LoadRunner Software, which lets users simulate mobile networks based in any geographic location to test mobile applications.MFGP shares are down 3% pre-market to $6.55.Last week, Micro Focus shares popped after the company signed a commercial deal with Amazon Web Services.
