SFTBY - Microsoft VC fund's global head joining SoftBank Vision Fund - Bloomberg

Bloomberg sources say Nagraj Kashyap, exiting global head of Microsoft's (MSFT) M12 fund, will join SoftBank ([[SFTBF]],[[SFTBY]]) Vision Fund's U.s. operations.Microsoft confirmed Kashyap's departure but SoftBank didn't comment on the hire.Kashyap previously headed Qualcomm's VC arm and joined Microsoft in 2016.The Vision Fund's staff is in flux with partner Collin Fan leaving to serve as an adviser at SoftBank Investment Advisers and managing partner Jeff Housenbold also announcing his exit.Earlier, SoftBank reported earnings with the Vision Fund accounting for $8B of the total $11B quarterly profits, compared to a loss in last year's quarter.
