MOGO - Mogo makes minority investment in crypto exchange Gemini

Mogo Finance Technology Inc.
Mogo (NASDAQ:MOGO) adds to its strategic investment portfolio following a new minority investment in Gemini's recently completed $400M financing. Some of these investments within Mogo's (MOGO) portfolio include cryptos like Bitcoin (BTC-USD) and Ethereum (ETH-USD), gaming and the emerging metaverse. Additionally, in the prior quarter, Mogo's (MOGO) digital assets and investments totaled approximately $150M, the company said. It owns a 39% stake of Canada-based crypto platform Coinsquare. Shares of MOGO initially jumped about 11% following the catalyst, but erases most of those gains shortly thereafter, now up 0.3% intra-day. Towards the end of October, Mogo launched the first-ever climate-positive Bitcoin.
