NSRGY - Nestle Health Science to add hydration supplement upstart Nuun to its portfolio

Nestle Health Science (NSRGY) strikes a deal to acquire hydration supplement brand Nuun from TSG Consumer Partners for an undisclosed amount.Nuun is described as a leading provider of healthy sports hydration that has built a loyal following of athletes and fitness enthusiasts with a low-sugar electrolyte tablet and sports beverages. Nuun is said to be a major force in the healthy hydration space that resonates with all types of consumers.The transaction is expected to close in the second half of this year.Last month, Nestle was reported to be looking to buy parts or all of Bountiful Company.
