NSRGY - New York AG probe some baby food makers over inorganic arsenic levels
New York Attorney General Letitia James launched a probe this week into several manufacturers of baby food regarding high levels of inorganic arsenic found in infant rice cereal products.Brands that are in the arsenic probe include Nestle's (NSRGY) Gerber, Beech-Nut, Hain Celestial's ([[HAIN]] +0.3%) Earth’s Best Organic and Danone's (DANOY) HappyBABY.The AG wants the companies to provide information on inorganic arsenic levels as well as their practices, policies, and standards regarding testing for inorganic arsenic in its infant rice cereal products and ingredients sold in the state of New York.
