OSH - Oak Street launches venture to provide primary care in dialysis centers

- Oak Street Health ( NYSE: OSH ) has launched OakWell, a joint venture with Interwell Health to provide primary care services to end-stage kidney disease patients in dialysis centers.
- Oak Street ( OSH ) said that the move allows patients to get coordinated care from their nephrologist and primary care doctor at the same time.
- The company added that many patients who have in-person dialysis treatment often spend upwards of 12 hours per week at a center, often making it difficult to make other healthcare appointments.
