Elliott Management, the hedge fund run by billionaire Paul Singer, started new positions in Arm Holdings ( NASDAQ: ARM ), with 0.98M shares, and Catalent ( NYSE: CTLT ), with 4M shares, during the third quarter, according to its latest 13F filing.
The firm boosted its holdings in Constellation Brands ( NYSE: STZ ) to 0.5M from 0.44M, NRG Energy ( NYSE: NRG ) to 10.4M from 2.77M, and Endeavor Group Holdings ( NYSE: EDR ) to 4.1M from 3.56M.
It closed out its stake in SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF ( NYSEARCA: XOP ).
Trimmed positions in Howmet Aerospace ( NYSE: HWM ) to 5.44M from 17.1M, Noble Corp. ( NYSE: NE ) to 0.2M from 2.85M, and Valaris ( NYSE: VAL ) to 0.54M from 1.65M, the filing showed.
