FISV - PayPal stock falls to 52-week low amid payment tech weakness
A week before cyber-Monday, PayPal Holdings (PYPL -3.1%) stock touches a 52-week low of $184.26, as many other fintech and payment processing names also slump. The stock declines as much as 15% since closing at $215.67 on Nov. 16. Square (NYSE:SQ) drops 7.4%, Fiserv (NASDAQ:FISV) slides 3.6%, Robinhood Markets (NASDAQ:HOOD) dips 3.8% in midafternoon trading. Visa (V -2.7%) and Mastercard (MA -4.7%) continue to drop in the first session of a holiday-shortened week. Last week, both credit card network stocks moved down after a spat between Visa (NYSE:V) and Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) over transaction fees went public.
