GOEV - Rivian deliveries start pushed back to July

Rivian (RIVN) tells customers the R1T electric pickup truck will start to be delivered in July, instead of June.Rivian's update: "Launch Edition deliveries are now planned to start in July and be completed in spring 2022. All R1T and R1S Launch Edition preorder holders will hear from their Guide by the end of November with their expected delivery timing."Rivian plans to hold drive events in the U.S. in August as part of its promotional push.Sector watch: Rivian (RIVN), Lucid Motors ([[CCIV]] -1.1%), and Fisker ([[FSR]] +1.2%) are expected to break out somewhat early in the highly-competitive electric vehicle sector.
