Premarket - Albertsons (NYSE:ACI) will issue its first earnings report since the IPO. The stock attracted a wave of bullish ratings last month and is likely to have seen a positive effect on sales from the pandemic. The last grocery store operator to go public before Albertsons was Grocery Outlet Holdings, which soared more than 10% after its initial earnings blast. Also in the early session, Hasbro (NASDAQ:HAS) is due to spill numbers for a messy pandemic-influenced quarter. BMO Capital thinks analyst estimates may be too a touch high with film delays at Entertainment One perhaps not factored into the consensus marks, while Berenberg is more optimistic after Mattel's better-than-feared results. Hasbro has missed revenue estimates for three straight quarters while beating profit estimates for two of the three. If there is a surprise, keep an eye on Mattel (NASDAQ:MAT) once again with the two stocks correlating tightly. JAKKS Pacific (NASDAQ:JAKK) also has a moderate correlation with Hasbro as does Disney (NYSE:DIS) over the last six months.
