SIEGY - Siemens Government Technologies bags task order under U.S. Army IDIQ contract
- Siemens Government Technologies (SGT), a U.S. arm of technology firm Siemens ( OTCPK:SIEGY ), has won a task order from the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville to provide building modernization and automation services.
- As the integrator of Siemens' smart infrastructure solutions for federal customers, SGT has been selected to support vital U.S. government infrastructure.
- Products and services to be covered under the contract include: the procurement and installation & maintenance and service of utility monitoring and control systems; heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; and supervisory control and data acquisition systems and other automated control systems.
- The task order was awarded under a performance-based IDIQ with a period of performance of five base years, plus two additional option years, with an award ceiling of $295M.
