SGMA - Sigma finishes 2023 with a final 22000-tonne shipment of Quintuple Zero Green Lithium concentrate

Sigma Lithium CEO Ana Cabral-Gardnerjoined Steve Darling from Proactive announcing the company's finalshipment for 2023 of Quintuple Zero Green Lithium concentrate. Thismarks the end of a truly transformative year for the company.
Cabral-Gardner explained that the fifthshipment of sustainable lithium concentrate is en route to Glencore atthe Port of Vitoria and is expected to arrive before the end of theyear. Glencore has agreed to prepay 50% of the shipment's valueupon completion of loading. This prepayment reflects a provisionalpremium price for Sigma Lithium's unique Quintuple Zero GreenLithium concentrate.
Over the pasttwelve months, Sigma Lithium has achieved remarkable milestones, fromsuccessfully commissioning the crushing unit in December 2022 onschedule and within budget to sustaining nameplate production levelsat its Greentech lithium concentrate plant in December 2023. Theseoperating rates support a monthly shipment cadence of approximately22,000 tonnes throughout 2024, equivalent to an annual output ofapproximately 270,000 tonnes of Quintuple Zero Green Lithiumconcentrate.
