Sio Gene Therapies ([[SIOX]] +9.0%) has witnessed its first insider transaction for the year with the CEO Pavan Cheruvu disclosing the purchase of 100K company shares raising his total holdings at the company to ~180.4K shares.According to a regulatory filing submitted yesterday, Cheruvu has spent ~$2.48 per share on average for a total value of $248K in a transaction dated March 23, making it his first since June 2019 when 7.5K shares were bought at $5.21 of average price.Sio Gene Therapies has lost ~15.8% in the year so far, and the company’s cash and equivalents as of Q3 in fiscal 2021 remained flat compared to ~$80.7M in fiscal 2020 end.
