SFTBY - SPAC CM Life Sciences II is said near deal to take SomaLogic public

SPAC CM Life Sciences (CMIIU), the SPAC backed by activist  Keith Meister’s Corvex Management LP and life-sciences investor Casdin Capital, is reportedly nearing a transaction to take protein-analysis company SomaLogic Inc. public.The deal, which could be announced as soon as tomorrow, values SomaLogic at $1.25b, according to the WSJ. Investors including a Softbank (SFTBY) unit, Cathie Wood’s ARK Investment Management (ARKK) and gene-sequencing company Illumina (ILMN) will supply the company with a $375m pipe.Recall Feb. 23, Life Sciences focused SPAC CM Life Sciences prices upsized $240M IPO.
