  • Stride ( NYSE: LRN ) on Thursday named Craig Barrett as chairman of the board.
  • Barrett will succeed Nathaniel Davis, outgoing chairman and former CEO, who is retiring Sept. 30.
  • Barrett joined LRN's board as a director in Sept. 2010. He had served as chairman of Intel till his retirement in 2009 and served as its CEO from 1998 to 2005.
