TTM - Tata Motors CEO Guenter Butschek to step down on June 30
Harold Cunningham/Getty Images News Tata Motors' (TTM) Managing Director and CEO Guenter Butschek will step down from his role effective June 30, 2021 after a tenure of over five years. He will continue to serve as a consultant to the company till the end of this fiscal year, The Economic Times reports. The company announced that Guenter Butschek had informed his desire to relocate to Germany at the end of the contract for personal reasons. Butschek joined Tata Motors in January 2016 and was responsible for leading all operations in India and in the international markets including South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and South Africa. Meanwhile, Girish Wagh, President - commercial vehicles is being elevated as executive director to the Board of Tata Motors from July 1, 2021.
