TTM - Tata Motors local sales jumps 78% M/M in May & 353% Y/Y in Q1 FY22 amid easing restrictions and gradual reopening

Harold Cunningham/Getty Images News Tata Motors (TTM) reports June domestic sales of 43,704 units, an increase of 78.01% M/M or 24,552 units sold in May 2021; Q1 FY22 domestic sales of 1,07,786 units, an increase of 353% Y/Y or 23,773 units sold in Q1 FY21. May total commercial vehicle sales was 19,594 units, up 109.09% over prior month deliveries of 9,371 units; Q1 FY22 commercial vehicle sales of 43,400 units, an increase of 372% Y/Y or 9,202 units sold in Q1 FY21. Passenger vehicle sales rose 58.82% M/M to 24,110 units; Q1 FY22 Passenger vehicle sales of 64,386 units, an increase of 342% Y/Y or 14,571 units sold in Q1 FY21. Total sales in domestic & international market for Q1 FY22 stood at 1,14,784 units, an increase of 359.54% Y/Y or 24,978 units sold in Q1 FY21.
