TENX - Tenax Therapeutics chairman to retire
Tenax Therapeutics (TENX) announced the retirement of three members of its board including the chairman Ronald R. Blanck as part of what the company called its ‘Board refreshment program.’The retirement of Dr. Blanck, Gregory Pepin, and Chris A. Rallis with effect as of the company’s annual meeting of stockholders scheduled for June 10, 2021, were voluntary decisions, Tenax Therapeutics said in a statement.The company is set to nominate Gerald Proehl a board member since 2014 to replace Dr. Blanck who has served the company board since 2009 before becoming its chairman in 2011. Mr. Pepin Mr. Rallis have served as directors since 2009 and 2011, respectively.With the exit of three directors, the composition of the board will decline to nine members after the onboarding of four new directors in Q1 2021 increased its size to 12.
