AMZN - The ETF space race: Procure Space ETF vs. Cathie Wood's ARK Space Exploration ETF
Alexyz3d/iStock via Getty Images The space race between billionaires-turned-astronauts Richard Branson of Virgin Galactic (SPCE) and Jeff Bezos of Amazon (AMZN) is heating up, and so is the marketplace for space-related ETFs. Branson successfully completed a space flight this past Sunday aboard his company Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo spacecraft. Meanwhile, Bezos is set to fly into space next week aboard his rival firm Blue Origin's New Shepard ship. The two billionaires' interest in space has spilled over into the exchange traded fund market, where Cathie Wood's pure-play ARK Space Exploration ETF (ARKX) battles Procure Space ETF (UFO) for market share.
