SIX - Three people injured in shooting outside Six Flags theme park in Illinois

Three people were injured following targeted gunfire outside the Six Flags Entertainment ( NYSE: SIX ) theme park in Gurnee, Illinois on Sunday. The Gurnee Police Department said the suspects in the shooting entered the Six Flags parking lot in a sedan and then exited the vehicle to shoot an individual believed to be specifically targeted. The theme park was cleared by the police after the incident.

On Wall Street, Jefferies cut its target price on Six Flags to $32 from $60 to reflect the lower-than-expected Q2 results. Jefferies took the stock off its Franchise Pick List but reiterated a Buy rating. "We believe SIX's business model and assets are more productive than the 2Q22 demonstrated and patience is the right course," updated analyst David Katz. The firm said flat 2022-24 estimates and low-end valuation still imply upside for SIX.

Shares of Six Flags Entertainment ( SIX ) fell 2.29% premarket to $23.50 to follow on Friday's double-digit rally.
