ELAN - TriRx Pharma to acquire Elanco Animal's two facilities in Kansas and U.K.

Elanco Animal Health (ELAN) has inked agreement to sell its two facilities to contract development and manufacturing organization, TriRx Pharmaceutical Services.The sites are located in Shawnee, Kansas and Speke, U.K., and will expand the manufacturing footprint of TriRx, adding to its existing facilities in Huntsville, Alabama, and Segré, France. The sale of the Shawnee and Speke sites includes the physical assets at both locations and the transfer of approx. 600 employees.The two companies have also entered into long-term supply agreements for both facilities to continue to manufacture existing Elanco products. The sale of the Shawnee and Speke facility is expected to close in H2 2021 and early 2022, respectively.Earlier, Elanco Animal Health's exit from Shawnee to bring down FY21 revenue
